Directions to Castiglion Fiorentino

BY TRAIN:

Italy’s national rail travel site, www.trenitalia.it, offers a detailed timetable for trains from Rome and from Florence to Castiglion Fiorentino.
Note: Schedules change depending on the time of the year and the day of the week. Prices and durations are approximate and can also change. If you want to buy your ticket to Castiglion Fiorentino before you depart for Italy, you can do so online up to one week in advance.

 

If you fly into Florence (80km from Castiglion Fiorentino):
Buses operated by ATAF Vola-In-Bus (“Fly by Bus”) leave the Florence airport for Florence’s main railway station, Santa Maria Novella, every half-hour. The ticket costs 6 euros and can be purchased from the driver in cash, directly on the bus. Go ahead and put your luggage in the bin underneath the bus and then climb on and pay; there is only one stop. The trip takes about 20 minutes.

Trains from Florence Santa Maria Novella Station (“S.M.N.”) to Castiglion Fiorentino:
Direct trains from Florence to Castiglion Fiorentino run about every hour; travel time is about an hour and ten minutes.

From Rome
From Rome-Fiumicino Airport you can take the Leonardo Express to Roma Termini train station. From Roma Termini there are direct trains to Castiglion Fiorentino or Arezzo.

From Florence
Highway/Motorway – Autostrada A1 – direction Roma – Exit Monte S.Savino: from Firenze Sud to Monte S.Savino 40 minutes

 

From Rome
Highway/Motorway – Autostrada A1 – direction Firenze – Exit Monte S.Savino, Duration: from Roma to Monte S.Savino 2 ½ hours. From Monte S.Savino follow directions Castiglion Fiorentino.

Terms, Conditions, etc.

The $450 deposit to reserve your space is non-refundable. Final payment is due on May 1, 2018. Failure to pay the balance by the due date will result in the cancellation of your reservation. After May 1, 2018 the balance is non-refundable unless we can find someone to fill your space.

There are no refunds for leaving the retreat early or arriving late.

Please consider travel insurance to protect yourself against changes in your circumstances.
